Public forays

Everyone's welcome to come along to our public forays. They're popular with members of the public and with new Mid Yorkshire Fungus Group [MYFG] members who are just starting to learn about fungi.

Enjoy a day in the outdoors - you'll probably find more fungi than you expect! On a typical foray, we find 30 or 40 different types of fungi. Children are always welcome and usually have a good time. They often turn out to be the best fungus spotters we have! Bring a packed lunch, something to drink and some waterproof footwear.
