RogersMushrooms The site is based on Roger Phillips' book 'Mushrooms and other fungi of Great Britain and Europe' and the similar book published on the mushrooms and Fungi of North America. The site has keys, and over 3000 images, to help you identify and learn more about the mushrooms of Europe and North America; it also includes mushroom recipes and a mushroom chatroom.

RECORDING AND CONSERVATION

BMS fungal records database [British Mycological Society pages hosted by CABI  Bioscience]. The website gives summary data from the database [which currently holds over 600 000 records of British fungi]. GB checklist of fungi; distribution maps; some keys.

LIAS: a global information system for lichenized and non-lichenized Ascomycetes. A multi-authored internet project containing information about phylogeny and biodiversity.   

Mycology [Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew]. Basic introduction to fungi plus info on: Kew's mycological specimen collection and how to send specimens; research projects etc.

Plantlife is a charity working to protect Britain’s wild flowers and plants, fungi and lichens, and the habitats in which they are found.
